Arrive by

40 minutes before showtime

The Centennial Memorial Hall sits on Yonsei University’s Sinchon campus in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, and contains both a Grand Hall (1,641 seats) and a separate Concert Hall. Classical programmes, jazz, touring acts and university-run events all play here, and it is one of the easier mid-size venues to reach in western Seoul.

🪑 Seating and sightlines

  • Level 1 (1,136 seats): close to the stage and good for facial detail. Rows 1–3 leave you looking up at the stage, so for a comfortable view aim for the mid rows of the centre block.
  • Level 2 (505 seats): excellent for taking in the whole stage and the lighting design. The further forward the better; the very front row can catch the balcony railing, so choose row 2 or back if that bothers you.
  • Don’t mix up the halls: the same building contains a separate Concert Hall with a different size and layout. Check the hall name on your ticket before you set off.
  • As a university venue, seating can be reserved or free-seating depending on the event — read the booking notice.

🚇 Getting there

  • From Line 2, Sinchon Station, Exits 3 and 4, take community bus 3, 4 or 5 and get off in front of Yonsei University.
  • Walking takes 10–15 minutes to the main gate, plus a little more across campus to the building itself.
  • Plenty of trunk, branch and express bus routes also serve the area. The address is 50 Yonsei-ro, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul.

🅿️ Parking

  • Campus parking is available, but entry queues and full lots are common on event days, and the Sinchon area is busy at the best of times.
  • Line 2 to Sinchon Station is the recommended approach.
  • ※ Parking operation and rates can change — confirm on your date.

⭐ Tips

  • Because you walk in across campus, aim to arrive 40 minutes before the show for a relaxed entry.
  • The Sinchon and Ewha districts nearby are full of restaurants and cafés.
  • House rules on photography and what you can bring in vary per event — check the notice at the venue.
