Seongnam Arts Center Opera House Seat View Reconstructed model
Tap a block to see the distance, angle and height to the stage. It is built by reading the seat numbers printed on every row of the three official seating charts (tiers 1, 2 and 3), and the per-floor totals — 1,128 / 404 / 272 — match the charts exactly. Hall dimensions were not available, so block positions and heights are reconstructed from standard spacings.
⚠️ Your seat number tells you the block — on tier 1, seats 1–16 are the left block, 17–32 the centre, 33–48 the right; on tiers 2 and 3 it is 1–15 / 16–33 / 34–48. The cross aisle between rows 16 and 17 on tier 1 is the one Korean audiences nickname the "highway".
Simulated from a 1.2m seated eye height — not a photograph, and staging changes with every show.

ⓘ How was this built? (sources and accuracy)
- Blocks and seat counts: B — read off the official charts — the three official seating charts (tiers 1, 2, 3) print a number on every single seat, so we read the per-row seat counts directly. That also fixes the block boundaries (tier 1: seats 1–16 / 17–32 / 33–48) and the row structure.
- Cross-check — summing what we read gives 1,128 on tier 1, 404 on tier 2 and 272 on tier 3, matching the totals printed on the charts exactly on all three floors. Three independent matches is strong evidence the reading is right. (The charts' header says 1,808 seats while the floors sum to 1,804 — the 4-seat gap looks like jump seats that are not drawn individually, and we left them out.)
- Coordinates: C — reconstructed — hall dimensions were not available, so block positions come from standard spacings (0.53m between seats, 0.95m between rows). Tier heights (+7.2m and +13.0m) and the rake are estimates. So the block structure and seat counts are reliable, while distances, angles and heights are approximations.
- Stage: D (estimated) — official stage dimensions were not available, so we assumed a 16m proscenium, typical for an 1,800-seat opera house.
- All distances and angles are approximations ("~") taken at a representative seat per block, assuming a 1.2m seated eye height.
